Update

Wow I've been a very bad blogger lately! Maybe once school is over I will be better.

I can't believe this school year is over in 6 school days. I am going to miss this class so much. They are so nice to each other! I love them. I am so lucky to have a job that I adore.

Things have been busy for us lately. Jon and I decided we love Saratoga Springs and want to stay forever. We are building a house here! We just signed all the papers and should be breaking ground by the middle of June! We got lucky and snagged a lot in our same ward which is awesome since we have loved it!

Which brings me to the other busy news...I was called to be the Relief Society president in our ward. I'm completely humbled to know that Heavenly Father trusts me to take care of the sisters in my ward. I'm not kidding when I immediately felt my heart expand to make room for the women I am going to serve. That all happened after Jon and I laughed about it for a solid hour. It's been a crazy couple of weeks but I will figure it out! Just keep me in your prayers...I need them!

Because pictures are better than words here are some recent ones! Enjoy!

Our lot!

My little family and I at the Tulip Festival.

Jon and Kingston. They are my world!

My Mother's Day gift.

Sweet baby Emree. Josie and Brad did a good job with this one.

This boy is the cutest two year old on the planet. He's literally two years old tomorrow. Wow! I guess I should stop calling him my baby.

The first grade getting ready to sing!

This girl has been my bestie since 2005. That's a lot of life. Couldn't have gotten through a lot of it without her. Memorial Day was fun sitting by the pool laughing about how we used to think we were fat, dated too many boys at once, and how weird it is that we were watching our husbands in the pool with our babies.

This man makes me feel beautiful. I'm so lucky to have found such a funny, extremely tall, handsome, and most importantly righteous man to be by my side. He's my boo.

Until next time!

Lately

Well happy February! I had a great Valentine's Day at school with 27 sugar rushed first graders then came home to a delicious dinner. Jon and I watched a movie and went to bed early...;)

Here are some recent pictures of my life! Enjoy.

One and Only

Tonight, Ally, Dan and I decided to take Kingston to his first real jazz bball game. I took him to a preseason scrimmage but we needed him to experience the real thing.

He loved it!! He was so focused on the ball the whole time. He was completely mesmerized. He wasn't into being on the court with the jazz bear though...he is straight up terrified of him!

The Jazz ended up winning and it was a fun time :)

My son is adorable. That is all.

Last night we went out to celebrate Josie's bday. Baby Emree is a month old. She is so so tiny still! After dinner we came back to our house and Ally and I fought over taking care of her. Ha ha. Even her poopy diaper was cute. I mean she is just so perfect.

2013

Wow! It's 2013. The world didn't end like the Mayans and the "doomsday preppers" (gotta catch an episode of those crazy people) said!

We rang in the new year with friends! It was a good time and now I'm back to reality! It's so rough getting back in the work routine after a long break!

Highlights from 2012:

-Our Caribbean cruise with our friends! That was so fun!
-We made the move to Saratoga Springs. We love it!!
-Kingston turned one.
-Ally and Dan got married!

It was a good year! Of course we had our fair share of trials which are never fun, but we only get better from enduring then :)

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a good January so far!

Why am I awake at 11pm on a school night. This is pretty unheard of. But Jon is at the Jazz game and I'm having a hard time falling asleep without him!

Last night we went to temple square to see the lights. Kingston reminded ys how awesome they were by saying "wow" and "aahhhhhh" every couple of minutes. They really are so beautiful. Jon and I have gone every year since we met! This was our 4th trip! Crazy how time flies.

We have had a crazy few days of school. I don't know if I would be able to get through December without Roby the elf. Yes my class named him Roby. And they literally scream in delight when they come into class and see what he's been up to since the day before. All I have to do is say "Roby is watching you..." And they snap into formation. Ha ha. Love those kiddos.

Well I should probably count some sheep now so I can function tomorrow! Merry merry Christmas to you!!
